it is a private-owned boutique hotel. the location is good although no car access. the staff is good but with poor english. the facilites are beyond our expectation and the roof-top restuarant is a must-see.
the experience at check-out is very uncomfortable. first, no card would be accepted. the receipt is hand-written and after we checked-out, our driver took us away, the hotel called that they forget to charge us on one-day breakfast. we came back and paid it. however, the second time we were about to leave udaipur. they called again that the thought there was a lost bath towel. they asked our driver to stop and wait their stuff to come. i wonder why they cant let our driver ask us if we took that towel and they did not need to came to our car in person. we waited about 20mins for them to come and in fact it was them who forgot to put towels in our room before we checked-in. it was just a telephone-could-solve problem.

The rooftop restaurant offers fine views.
The room was rather compact. Then there was the issue with the air conditioning. It was difficult to find a comfortable temperature, with ventilation being hit or miss. I had issues with the mattress comfort, which really impacted my sleep quality . I also found the staff at the rooftop bar unwelcoming, disappointing given the beautiful atmosphere of the place.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. The facilities were perfect, and the Manager did Everything he could to help us feel comfortable. He also went well above and beyond by booking our trains and organizing all our logistics! Stay here- you will have a blast.
We were upset we couldn't stay longer!

Great renovations. Very comfortable. Great staff. Great rooftop. Amazing value. One of the best hotels staye at in India...
A bit noisy. Would recommend a room on a higher floor. Power also went out relatively frequently...

We had an amazing group trip! The rooms were beautiful, and we loved the fine views from the rooftop. We visited the nearby City Palace and enjoyed the local heritage walk. The staff was super friendly, and breakfast options were good. Make sure to try the reasonably priced meals at the restaurant too.
Be aware that getting to the hotel involves some narrow lanes, so it might be a bit challenging if you're bringing larger luggage.
